Trace + Grace | Salt Flats Formals

Remember my senior rep, Grace? SHE'S A MARRIED WOMAN NOW - she obviously wasn't when I took these pictures, but I've been procrastinating blogging this session until now. A first look is always touching, but it's always that much sweeter when it's someone you've known for years. Grace is my husband's cousin, and Trace was friends with my husband in high school. That means there's lots of history between me and these two lovers.

I rode with Grace, Trace, their moms, and two of their sisters to the Salt Flats. Can I just say they were blessed with some of the best families around? For real, I LOVE THEIR FAMILIES. The drive was long, but it was filled with great conversations and lots of laughs - we even went to In-N-Out after, so I was one happy girl. (I LOVE CHEAP FOOD).

We got to the Salt Flats where I met their videographer, Kennidy. Ummm, hi match made in heaven - cause same name, ya know? It felt like I had worked with her several times, she's insanely talented! Check out here website HERE.

The whole scenery was breathtaking and PERFECT for Grace and Trace's style. I love when the location we pick for locations matches your 'theme' for your wedding and nails down your style to a T. They were going for more of a bohoey type vibe, and I though the salt flats would be perfect.

When I first saw Grace in her dress, my JAW DROPPED. When you guys see the pics you'll understand why. Her dress was so unique and embodied Grace's style perfectly. Everything about her from the broach she made from her grandmother's pins to her shoes was on point. I'm a sucker for navy suits, so I was digging Trace's look too. The short walk out to the spot I wanted to shoot at was unbearable! I wanted Trace to see Grace sooo bad.

These two mesh so well together, I couldn't have picked a more perfect husband for Grace. The session went off flawlessly. The highlight of the session, for me, was when they did their 'secret handshake'. They ended staring into each other's eyes, and I could tell that they felt like they were the only two people in the world. My words will never do this session justice, so I'll finally get to the pictures - since that's probably why you're here anyways.

My apologies for holding these pictures hostage for so long. Here's Trace + Grace's stunning salt flats formal session.
