My best sessions always start with the couples saying, "We are going to be sooo awkward in front of the camera," and I'm not saying that with any sarcasm. Kyler and Abby were one of those couples that thought they were going to be awkward, and they couldn't have been more wrong.
First of all, if you feel awkward during a shoot with me I AM DOING SOMETHING WRONG. Not you, me. This is when the, "it's not you it's me," line is very applicable. However, from the moment I met Kyler and Abby I felt like we all just clicked! They were high school sweethearts, and we all know I have a soft spot for them. Their interactions were so pure that I didn't have to use any of my 'secret techniques' to get them to come out of their shell.
Kyler loves Abby so much, and you can see it in the way that he looks at her. It melts my heart to see two people who are SO RIGHT for each other. Abby has the kindest heart, and I knew that I would enjoy every minute with her during our consult we had. Couples like Kyler and Abby are why I wanted to become a photographer in the first place.
I left their session so excited for our other sessions and their wedding! They're going to kill the whole marriage thing, I can just feel it.
