Meet Whitney – a Mountain Crest senior who just happens to be a cheerleader. She is so adorable.
This was my first session with my brand-spankin-new camera and lens. I was so nervous at the beginning of the shoot, but after I met Whitney the nervousness turned into pure excitement. (On another note, buying my new camera changed my life.) The whole time during this shoot, I was in awe at how comfortable she was in front of the camera. I kept saying, “Whit, you should just be a professional model!” I think I may have gotten her to change her career goals in life. Okay, so maybe not really, but when people look that good in front of your camera you HAVE to say something!
I am so glad I had my good pal Katelyn (check out her images from the session here) come along for the fun on this shoot. The three of us got along so well, and there were a lot of laughs during the time we spent together. It was such a creative shoot with myself and Katelyn bouncing pose ideas off of each other, and Whitney was more than happy to oblige with our nutty ideas – thank goodness!
Whitney has big plans for her in the future! She is going to attend Utah State University where she will be a cheerleader. SO COOL. As T-Swift would say, “She’s cheer captain, and I’m on the bleachers.” I can’t wait to watch you do your thang this fall Whit!
