I remember sitting in Shaylee’s mom’s chair getting my hair done all throughout middle school. I always thought Shaylee was the most cool/beautiful girl EVER. Almost ten years later and let me tell you, nothing’s changed. She’s as beautiful as ever, and an even better role model to those around her (including people like me who hope to be mothers someday).
If you follow her on Instagram (if you don’t you should – here’s her profile) then you know how amazing of a mother she is. Both her and her husband have the most kind hearts. You can see it in the way they interact with their kids and each-other. Her Instagram posts/videos never fail to put a smile on my face.
Needless to say, I was PUMPED when Shaylee reached out to me to do an in-home session with her adorable family. The session was spent cuddling on their bed, playing with the kid’s fav toys, and dance parties. I had an absolute blast with this family. One of my favorite moments was when Indee hid in the cupboard, because she was over taking pictures. But guess what? That’s real life guys! It’s one of the main reasons I love in-home sessions. Everyone is relaxed in their own home, and I get the chance to document what real life is like. Just your family, in your home, during the true and raw moments of life.
I can’t say enough good things about the Ward family. They are as kind on the inside as they are beautiful on the outside.
