Getting to know families during a family session is one reason I still love to shoot families. Every family is so different from the next, and I love to see the way they interact with each other.
I’m so glad the Moser family approached me to take their family portraits this year. I knew them from coaching their daughter during this basketball season, but I didn’t get to really know-know them. I adored every second during my time with them. Their family has such a good sense of humor, and they definitely kept me laughing during their session. I also learned that they are one tough family. They stuck it out through the many bug bites, and the girls hiked through rocks in their heels. It’s worth mentioning that they were also so patient with me since I made them a) hike in heels as previously mentioned and b) decided that a 30 minute drive (on 4th of July weekend of all weekends) into the crowded mountains was the perfect location for their family.
I loved getting to know each and every one of them, and I’m so excited to show their session off! It was a good one, if I may say so myself.
