During the spring, summer, and fall seasons I swear I do a shoot at Tony Grove at least once a week. I'm not complaining though, cause I'm OBSESSED with it. I have this weird love for pine trees and mountains, so I'm totally down for taking pictures of lovers in one of the most beautiful locations (in my opinion) in the good ol' CV. Betcha can't guess where Landon + Kylie's formals were taken!
These two lovers decided to do their formal session after their wedding and honeymoon in Florida. I love that this is becoming more common for a couple of reasons. 1. You get to put your wedding attire again! I mean, we pay a pretty penny for those gorgeous dresses. Why not have another excuse to wear it again?! 2. You don't have to stress about getting the dreamy formal pictures during your wedding day. While we still took pictures of just those two on their wedding day, they didn't spend countless hours taking pictures instead of taking in all of the love from their friends and family. Honestly, it's a win-win situation.
During Landon + Kylie's engagement session, it was overcast and a little rainy. This was the case with their formals too. If you know anything about photography, overcast is a pretty sweet weather condition to have during your shoot (although I do love me some sunny photoshoot days). You're not constrained by the sun, so we had a hay day at Tony Grove. They're some lucky ducks in my opinion to have overcast weather on BOTH of their sessions.
It was such a perfect afternoon with these two. We caught up, they told me all about their honeymoon, and I photographed their love for the third time. I'm always so sad to see the day come when my couple's wedding is over, and we finish our last session together. I build such a connection with them, but I love being able to watch my couples go through the rest of their lives with their soulmate by their side.
Here are Mr. and Mrs. Broadhead!
