Every year I pick one senior girl to be a senior rep for Kennedy Kiara Photography. I try to pick someone who represents the good in the world, who is positive, and who will represent Kennedy Kiara Photo in the best way possible. I struck gold with Kassi.
Kassi played basketball for Preston High School for two years during the time I've been coaching. Instantly I had a connection with her. She was such a sweet girl and she had a killer work ethic which I admired. We bonded through the first season I coached, and I knew that when she was a senior she'd be my senior rep.
Kassi is the VP for PHS, is taking several college classes, and she is the Distinguished Young Women (DYM) for Preston. Her campaign, for lack of better words, for DYM heavily focuses on body positivity/health. I admire her so much for touching on such a sensitive subject every girl/woman has struggled with during their lifetime. She's gone around giving speeches to the youth, and she is currently trying to put together a body positive workshop for our little town of Preston. Holy guacamole, she's done more good in the world during her senior year than I've done my whole life.
She is such a force to be reckoned with, she radiates positivity, and has a killer sense of humor. Kassi is exactly what I could hope for in a senior rep, and I'm so excited to continue to work with her throughout her senior year. She's like the little sister I never had!
