Okay, wow, I don't even know where to begin with this couple. If you've ever met either Karson or Erica then you know how KIND and SWEET they are. I've honestly never met a more sweet couple.
I had the pleasure of working with Erica at Tanning Studio in Logan, UT right before I left! She was always so genuine towards me, and we meshed from the moment I met her. When she asked me to photograph her wedding I was PUMPED. She has the best style, and I had heard so many good things about her soon to be husband. I knew it was going to me magical - they did not let me down.
They got sealed in the Ogden, UT temple, and it was one of the HOTTEST weddings I had all summer. For real, it was a good thing I was in black cause, man, I was sweating. Of course, my sweet couple acted as if they weren't hot at all. They were champs. Other than the scorching heat, it was a PERFECT day to get married.
After the temple, they had a luncheon at a church back in Erica's hometown, Preston, ID. The food was delicious, and the room was filled with so much love. There were toasts, which were so touching. I love going to luncheons solely for the toasts. You learn so much about the couple and their relationships during that short amount of time.
Their reception was a backyard reception. I type this as we just got, what feels like, 6 feet of snow. I'm really missing all my backyard receptions and warm weather. This backyard reception was one of my favorites. The decor was so on point, the cake was TO DIE FOR, and the weather was perfect. It was a photographer's dream. I could tell through the whole night that Karson and Erica were so in love and excited to finally be married. It was a great night filled with laughs, dancing, and love. Writing this blog post months later I relived all the fun I had that day. This wedding was for sure one of my favorites in 2018. I love these two with all my heart.
